Dearest Associate:
The MSEUF Academic Club, our beloved organization will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary on September 2009. Our organization which Noel Herrera and the core group members founded in 1984 has gained prestige and metamorphosed into a very strong organization in the campus. It has radiated its influence from the Enverga University community, to the entire Quezon province and in the CALABARZON area. The various activities of the club, particularly the Academic Competitions have gained popularity among schools in the city, in the province and in the region.
The academic competitions are now being held at SM Mall. Questions are being flashed on screen using multimedia projector. This is an added feature of the contest, going a little high tech. Our founding adviser, Mommy Evelyn Mercado has envisioned acquiring a multi-media projector, a lap-top computer and a sound system for the exclusive use of the club. According to her, this is going to be our special gift to the club on its Silver Anniversary.
Knowing Mommy’s noble intention, we are inviting the associates as Guest Speakers during Anniversary Ball. This is for us to see ourselves what happened to the club which we love most. We are also encouraging higher attendance rate from the other Associates. Last year, we invited Ms. Evangeline Valencia of AMKOR to be our Guest of Honor during the anniversary. On that occasion, we have launched the program called “The Multimedia Project.” This aims to raise fund which will be used for the acquisition of the said equipment which will be held in custody at the office which we will request the Administration to provide for us. Ms. Vangie started the project and donated P5000 pesos as an initial fund for the project. We have opened an account at Banco De Oro, SM Lucena Branch and the said amount is initially deposited in the account number 1820095965. The policy for this is, “No Academician is allowed to withdraw, they are only allowed to deposit an amount in addition to what is already in place.” Pwedeng dagdagan, hindi pwedeng bawasan!
We know that every associate has the same big heart as Vangie, and so we have agreed during our September 2006 Anniversary Ball at City Antigua that we will require a voluntary donation from all associate members. The total amount that we are trying to raise is around Two Hundred Thousand pesos (P200, 000.00). Dividing the whole amount with the total number of associates that we have, each Associate should donate One Thousand Five Hundred pesos (P1, 500.00). There are three options, an associate could have a one time donation, a 15/30 donation in three installments or other scheme which the Associate Member might want to have. You can personally hand in your donation or directly deposit it in our account. The 15/30 scheme allows an Associate to deposit a portion of the total amount during pay day. There is going to be an internet blog wherein updates on the donation will be posted. For this, you can log on to www.mseufacademiclub.blogspot.com. Should you require additional information, please feel free to contact me at my mobile number, 09217312708 or e-mail me at rlimpiada@yahoo.com.
Thank you very much and we are hoping that you will help us realize this project. Mabuhay ang MSEUF Academic Club!

Assemblage Editorial: MSEUF ACADEMIC CLUB: ON ITS EXCELLENCE?
With its 22 years of great confinement, the MSEUF Academic Club still stands out to be one of the organizations that every Envergans will always look up to. If a survey will be conducted in order to appraise and see the best organizations here in our University, no doubt Academic Club will always be on the list for the belief of the students that these club is ideal (without minding the truism: Nobody is perfect). But would you think that this club is still yearning to its perfection, or should I say near aptness?
We have seen the hard work of the Academicians in the previous academic contests last September, and no wonder what made it successful were the labors contributed by each members and even the company of their supportive advisers.
22 YEARS IS NOT THAT EASY TO REACH! From those years that have conceded, we have left a mark not just in every Envergans, but as well as with other people. And we are indisputably very proud of our selves because we have been an element of this renowned club.
MSEUF Academic Club possesses something that other organizations don’t have, and I think these will be the main weapon of this organization to still bear its title on the top The ACADEMICIANS! As long as there will be responsible, hard working, flexible, tough, and effective members of the club- nothing will be impossible for the organization to arrive at its golden year. That sounds great, isn’t it?
We are laden with varieties of activities that calls for massive efforts from the members to attain all these goals, and this will only made into reality if every member will work together and be liable with every act and venture that we will be carrying out.

ACADEMICIAN FOREVER
by: Patrick Sean V. Durante
Won’t you come and share this song
About this journey that we’ve once begun
And all those times that we’ve share together
When I’m with you I am strong
And I know where I really belong
I can be the best, ‘coz we have each other
About this journey that we’ve once begun
And all those times that we’ve share together
When I’m with you I am strong
And I know where I really belong
I can be the best, ‘coz we have each other
Refrain:
A bunch of misfits we maybe, all different but joint as one
Not just a group but a family, at the University
Which became our home
Chorus:
Cause when I’m with you,
I will always feel that I am not alone
And together we will strive to be
The best that we can be
I’ll always keep my head up high
With my feet on the ground b’coz
FOREVER an ACADEMICIAN I will be…
Refrain>> Chorus
